The UCS Food & Nutrition Services Department is making it easier than ever for you to ensure your child is covered when it comes to meals. Computerized online systems provide fast and easy service for the more than 28,000 students within the district.

Meal Applications
Visit Lunchapp.com to learn more about free/reduced breakfast and lunch programs providing meals at no cost or a reduced rate of 30 - cents per day for breakfast and 40 - cents per day for lunch. Applications can be filled out online. On-line applications are typically processed in about half the time of a paper application. Paper applications can be obtained and returned to any school office. Only one application is needed per family. (Preschoolers should not be placed on the application as students, since they do not have an ID number yet. Include preschooler in the family member section of the application.) Remember to allow two weeks to complete the paper application process.

On-Line Deposits and Account Management
Every parent will want to consider setting up an on-line account to manage and monitor their student’s meal activity through  Utica.FamilyPortal.com . Visit the Utica.FamilyPortal.com website to set up your account.  You will need your child’s 9-digit ID number to apply. If you do not have the number on hand, contact the school office. Once your Utica.FamilyPortal.com account is set up, you can access student meal accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to view account balances, deposit histories, or your child’s meal or snack selections free of charge. You can also make deposits to your child’s cafeteria account using Visa, MasterCard or Discover. (A bank service fee of $1.50 will be charged to your credit card.)

Breakfasts & Lunches may still be purchased with cash or check; however amounts of $20 or more are recommended. Checks should be made to Utica Community Schools Food Service Department. Checks returned for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) will be accessed a $25 fee.

Full lunches are $2.75 for elementary students, $2.90 for junior high students and $2.95 for high school students. Breakfast is $1.75 at all levels.
